I mean, I assume that the people that actually are paying attention would walk away from Trump and the MAGA nonsense. They have now openly displayed, they don't care about the border or fixing that in any way. They care about Donald Trump and only Trump and openly voted for open borders in the hope that something horrible happens at the border. Forget protecting the country, this is just protect something Trump can claim is his issue. He is desperate to have an issue because Biden has done better with the economy than Trump ever did. 

Trump had four years, he did not address nor fix, nor make the border situation better. Now he openly says he wants that situation to be awful, no matter what happens, if Americans are killed that would be the best thing, because that is good for his campaign. 

OK, well, now the Republicans can promote open borders, that is what they voted for, and Biden can promote the border deal they turned down. 

MAGA now wants open borders, that is what Trump stands for, he said it, the Republicans voted for it.
