...so, the thing is I don't think we are seeing "alien" craft in these videos either. I agree that there is the question of why this has now become a news item and "government" officials are openly announcing we have unknown craft in our airspace. The timing is interesting and so is who is actually out there selling this stuff.
I think this is a fun thought experiment though. Essentially it is something that tests how we interpret what we see and what we are told and gives us the opportunity to sort through it. I'm sure if Kent were still with us he would be making some bold announcements.
The first thing I would say is that the video footage itself is not particularly impressive. Yes, if what is seen in it is exactly what is being described then it would be interesting. However, the video footage requires someone describing to us what we are seeing and explaining it to us...that leaves a rather large gap in this story. Second, the same small group of people are doing the describing of what is in these videos, not a good sign. So, now we have questionable video combined with questionable individuals telling us what we are seeing. Third, they always throw in that there was far more stunning stuff that they saw but, of course, there is no video of this.
I mean if you want to get a "government" official with some credibility to sell this, well, Marco Rubio is not your man. Holy shit, talk about credibility problems. Kind of odd too that before this hit 60 Minutes it was being sold to people primarily on FOX News affiliates (aka Conspiracy Central) and alien shows on the History Channel, which should probably change it's goddamn name at this point as it seems to have little to do with history at all.
So, what we seem to have here is a lot of hocus pocus, some ooga booga, and a sales pitch...for what? Funny, that this stuff all falls right into the purview of the defense industry after the creation of Space Force and is outstanding fodder for the idiots that think the election was stolen from Trump and are a ready made audience for believing any goddamn thing you tell them.
So, bottom line is the chances are what is in those videos is alien visitors as much as I am a rutabaga fooling you all into thinking I am a human being at a keyboard. However, when they brief the rubes on the hill about this in June I am pretty certain a bunch of them will hear the words "threat assessment" and immediately want to increase our defense budget.
