The older I become, the less sure I am about our world and my own destiny. The chances that there is alien life seem much more likely than not. The vastness of space and the possibilities it holds are incomprehensible to us. Sometimes I feel we're all part of some larger experiment that will be revealed to us when we depart this earth and that no matter how thoughtful we try to be, it's impossible for us to imagine what lies beyond this realm. Perhaps it all ends when our flame dies. I hold out hope that there's more than this experience and that we'll all be left in awe.
