Great summation, Reg. Any fool should be able to follow the events and grasp the legal, moral, and political
implications but for so many, I don't think it will matter one whit because dear leader stands outside the law.
Some theists believe in Divine Command Theory, in other words, if the big guy upstairs commands it, it's the
law and we're compelled to obey (gleefully and with a song in our heart). There's something similar going on
with the most devoted Trump followers, though it's hard to put a percentage on them. I fear a healthy share
are so over the moon for Donald that they will do anything for him, for in their hearts, they just know he
stands for truth, justice, and the American way. Will this end up in the Supreme Court with reasoned
arguments...or in the streets, with weapons?
I've seen your references to Marc and have to admit, I too wonder how he and his fellow amigos are
processing this. Some males are genetically and socially disinclined to admit they erred. It's very human. But
boy, wouldn't we all be impressed if they (and we all know who "they" are) would truly share their thoughts.
It's liberating guys, share!
