I't's impossible sometimes to try and understand God's ways and make sense out of a tragedy. I've heard it expressed before that our life experiences are sometimes like the ingredients of a cake. Eaten individually some of them taste horrible but when put together the flavor is much different. I'm sure Dan was one of the sweeter ingredients in your life although his passing was quite bitter.
