Teaching and education in the USofA is a whole different ball of wax than it used to be. Also, there is a wide, almost unbreachable, dichotomy based on class and money. Used to be that all kids could expect a truly fine education and, for the most part, were prepared and supported by their home lives to receive and use it.That and health care are, to me, the two biggest failings of our times.
