...a good and fun goof. The truth is I was home sick all weekend and so I spent my time watching movies and reading. When I came here I found you, Kathryn, and Peter all posted things related to movies and Rip Torn so it gave me a chance to ramble about something other than politics...and I'd love to talk about movies with anybody that feels like it so I dove into your idea about a Smothers brothers film. I like it and I feel like there should be more films like that being made, less superhero stuff, and of course fewer films about farting or going to the bathroom or blowing stuff up real good. Again, not that I'm being "snobby" about movies or knocking what other people might enjoy, I am not judging what people like any more than I would say you should enjoy chocolate more than vanilla but I just think the percentage of "escapist fluff" being made over films that have something to say or a real story to tell is...well...just way out of proportion. So, I wanted to take part in your goof. I suppose you can't expect much less than this kind of attitude from a guy that loves Peckinpah films but lives in a time when there is a genre of film called the "bromance"...
