Okay…something on the subject . . . of Actors.

In an earlier post was a video of the Smothers Brothers.

& the reason it was used to emphasize that punchline is…

  I was watching Smothers Brothers videos as a curiosity.

FWIW, for some time now it’s been a nilly notion of mine

(Just a notion..as not all men are men of means and action)

  …that somebody should write a screenplay (or treatment)

   built around the story of The Smothers Brothers; with

Sean Penn as both Tom & Dick. Acting to and around himself;

see for yourself: He could play both, w/ one hand tied behind his back.

Blue or Green Screen technology could handle the degrees of separation,

The remainder would have to be all on the actor. .I think it could be done.

Should be done. Would be done …in an ideal creative world of artistes

and sundry furry animals not bent on blockbusters & other butchery.

What a worthy challenge it’d be to put this production into action..

I mean..what has Sean Penn NOT already tackled in front of or

behind the camera lens?  ...This could be stimulating material.

Ol’salt uber-actors must ache for fresh/testing material, no?

Even those with a love-hate relationship with the artform?

I’ve thought about it with Penn and Depp, but where would the trade-off

be, since both really do have excellent comedic timing. ...Just seems like a

Rip-off for either cat to have to limit himself to Tom Or Dick. &…given the

two actors, both gifted in their own right, I’d rather see Sean Penn take it on.
