From Henry 'Hopper' Nash to Jim to Conrad Van Orton to Sam Dawson, to name 4, I think he could drum up a truthful Tom Smothers. Then play Tommy to brother Dick (easily assembled out of roles past---maybe easily isn't the best word). Because what’d be the challenge for an actor who has prettymuch slaughtered the-triple-crown of thespian pursuits and may actually be out of conventional one-actor-one-character challenges?  Unless he tries his hand at the bipolar..method.  Playing both Tom AND Dick. It’s just a theory. & we're likely never gona know if he can do it. Nothing to get hung upon. It was no nail biter. No Bic lighter moment. Just a late-niter on this inscrutable dbis board where semi-logical, well-meaning & witty, folks like Mick & Ed come to [d]evolve sum in th’company o th’rare colossal idjit wit a jingoistic fidget or xenophobe tick. :O)
