We are talking a future president here Block. Of course there are right wing nut jobs out there.

This an extreme case but lets just say for example no one knew who David Duke really was. Suddenly inflammatory videos of David Duke making White Supremacy remarks after John McCain says that David Duke is his social and spiritual advisor. McCain says there is no way he could throw him under the bus because they have a strong relationship that has spanned 20 years and he has been in the presence of Mr. Duke while he has made several inflammatory remarks.  Meantime the press interviews several of David's closest associates and they say "Well you took a few sound bytes and they were not taken in context". David is a very good man and we all love him.
