Becker/Fagen are a fantastic duo. Oh yeah....pretty amazing material. I think the title Rock doesn't do them justice. Fusion/Jazz,
everything, really.
The arrangements are so complex in some of the tunes (like most of them). I think one of them does
more of the chart writing/arranging and the other (I suspect Fagen) does the lyrics? I'm not sure. Talk
about lyrics. Dark, funny, absurd....Steely Dan are in a complete universe of their own.
