Ian and EEE,

I'm struck by the hypocricy of the protesters who are supposedly for human rights.  Where is their concern for the rights of the people of Iraq?  Can you see where I might feel that they are if not directly, then indirectly giving saddam support?  They may tell you they don't support saddam but their actions are doing just that.

I too am troubled by the news coverage EEE and the Monday Night Football feel.  Oh well...did you expect anything different?  I'm impressed by the openness to the media and their access to the fighting.  Not that I'm interested in seeing bloodshead, rather, I'm impressed by the restraint shown our fighting forces.

What is your feeling about civilian casualities?  Is there an exceptable number which you're willing to tolerate in order to free the masses?  What is that number for you?  Is one too many?  Five...five hundred?  Remember, we're talking about the future...not just the next ten or twenty years.  Put yourself in a pair if Iraqi shoes.

Ian, I came off harshly to you for suggesting that you disliked seeing freedom come to the people of Iraq and I shouldn't have said that.  I appologize.
