We might have lost our way somewhat on this site, but I see it as traveling down a road
and while not drunk, we are drifting from one side of the road to the other and the thing in
common that pulls us back in the middle and keeps us on the road is DB's music and our
enjoyment of his music. Topics range from left to right and while we disagree, we are
held here by that common theme and should not take a permanent exit from the journey
we are on.As I type this I'm watching the Bruce Springsteen/E Street Band performance on CBS
(typing in between commericals of course) and thinking of the posts in this string. I have
also recently finished the biography of Neil Young. The reason I mention these items is
that while watching a 52 year old man perform and thinking of Neil Young, it makes me
realize what a good thing we have going here. It makes me think of the hard work
people like DB put into their art and makes me wonder of the toll it must take on them.We all get together and from time to time the person we are here for drops in and gives
us even more than just the use of his music that we use to enrich our lives. He gives us his
thoughts, intellect and shares obvious personal things with us and what do we seem to
do? Ask for more. I appreciate all he has shared with us. From his wonderful music to
that of his intellect and his attempt to get us to think deeply about important issues, I still
get jazzed that DB actually stops in here from time to time. What a treat. From all of you, I appreciate the opinions and insights of all things considered and
especially appreciate all the fine work that goes into keeping this board relevant and
worthwhile.I'm not leaving and hope those that have suggested leaving reconsider and remain around
for the rest of the ride.Best wishes,Eric
