I'm sorry for your loss Kevin. Thanks for sharing your emotions so openly. Whoever or whatever the creator is messed up big time when giving lifespans to our canine and feline friends. A mere 10+ years compared to 100 for turtles and other reptiles, even some parrots get over 40 years not really fair. Perhaps when the pain has ebbed another trip to the SPCA will bring another deserving pet into your lives.
