I was watching newsnight last night and they had a Rabbi on and something was said about recruits swearing something on the Torah when joining the IDF. Do you know what that means, what if I wanted to go apeshit and kill Brad and wanted to join the IDF to do it, would they allow me to take an oath on the Dhammapada. Are the two inextricably intertwined? God I've waited ages to use that 'inextricably intertwined' bit by the way
