Seems to show mankind has been discussing these same issues for sometime...all to no avail
Yeah, thats kinda why I never liked studying history. Why? No one learns. But, I also wonder if the repitition of history doesn't have some sort of corrolation. Like, was there an environmental event, or some sort of knowledge that occured, or someone who for some reason decided it was time to make everyone think they way they thought, or the planets in some sort of line up, or ... I'm sure someone somewhere has done some sort of data analysis with charts that show the ebb and flow of violent vs. non-violent rulers, how long they lasted and what changed. One of those things that I would like to research, one of these days. Meanwhile, enjoy the moment.
