Crash. I'm sort of catching up on stuff I missed but for some reason Crash just has not appealed to me enough to pick it up and see it. I get the feeling, and I'm sure this really isn't fair to say because I have not seen it, that it's gonna come across as very contrived.
The best film I saw last year was "Good Night and Good Luck" as far as that goes. That has to be qualified by the fact I didn't see very many films.
I missed:
Crash
Brokeback Mountain (now ruined for me anyway because I've seen so many parodies that I laugh whenever I see that "I wish I could quit you" scene. It all just seems so hilarious now)
Munich
and probably a bunch of others that would have been in that sort of best picture catagory.
