Going to see INXSish in a great small venue next week.  NOT that I think anybody can ever replace the esoteric rock & roll spirit that Michael Hutchence was, I believe they chose the logical alternative to him via that hokey pop TV farce...& am expecting the concert to be balls-on.  8th row, isle, ...nice.  Hope they’re prepared to fit a couple/few tracks from The Swing in a set; ...bought that disc back in 84-85 in Okinawa when CDs were still virgins...& it’s never really been out of circulation since.  [All of those CDs bought in that first round...still play well & look as good as a CD can look...while some we’ve bought in the past year already look like our frisbee golf discs...& they’ve been  treated just as well; ...cheaper-&-cheaper materials...go figure.]

If all goes well & J.D. Fortune doesn’t run-off with Bob Geldof's or somebody else’s groovy lil’ gal then eventually develop a dread-bout with guilt, loathing & paranoia [tongue-in-cheek, certainly] ...then they should have a nice shot at a great revisit.

Once a real gooooood band.

...Love to see Tears for Fears gather back together under one roof again too.

Hey, stranger things...& I don’t recall any of them giving-up the ghost.
