To the children!!

Here here!  My son (7) says the most off the wall stuff to me - like on the way to the swimming pool..'wouldn't it be cool if you could make popcorn in your pants?'

(cautiously, and marginally afraid of the answer)

'where in your pants?'

'your pockets! duh'

'so like, you're walking down the street, and you have an instant snack?'

'yeah!'

He still believes in Santa Claus but is sorta dubious about my ability to translate our dogs' behavior into speech...what the hell, the dog gets it.  come to think of it, he likes popcorn, too...

p.s. - Dslacker - parent = fun + responsibility, in all sorts of odd proportions - it doesn't matter if you're up for it...I love my ex, but it pales next to our shared concern/love for our son...
