I own 7 discs from The Beautiful South., and would never compare them to The Smiths. I also liked Deacon Blue, Blur, Oasis, James and Travis to name a few pop/rock bands that.were very popular in the UKduring their heyday. Apperantly, the later has another album to be released soon.As well, Radiohead is comming back with another this year.
I was in the record shop yesterday and there was this pale skined kid with a Marrilion tee on. He was wearing pencil pushers on his face, white sneakers and black socks, carying a small spiral bound notebook with a list of CD's to buy. Total prog geek!
