Well I suppose I am talking about the Housemartins too, but TBS were very much about using northern humour in a different way to the Smiths...I didn't like the Housemartins, but I love TBS. When they do tour they sell out every time and I'm not convinced they're a thing of the past. Billy Bragg was not my cup of tea...nor Elvis Costelloe...damn but you know lots about british pop...I sense that bands that were big here didn't do it for you lot.
