Yep, there was some good ball playin' for early in the season. You can bet Steinbrenner was relieved when the U.S. was knocked out and Jeter, Damon, and A-Rod were back at Yankee training camp,no longer risking injury.
Ichiro was something else, can that guy (and the rest of his teammates) hit!!. Didn't matter what hitter was up 2-3-4 or 6-7-8 all of 'em dangerous.
