Levy is basically a provocateur and an outside observer. But, certainly, artists have been marginalized as "entertainers" and the media has lost its balls in any real follow-through (ie Katrina)in order to seem "fair and balanced.But the "left" - at least as personified by the Democratic party (and what else is there? The unions? The NAACP? The ACLU?) has been willing to sacrifice its soul to appease the center.Ultimately, I agree - "The fault, Horatio, is not in our stars, but in ourselves that we are underlings."
