Pat, Why do you always try to prop up your arguments with the typical scattergun type tactics and slandering? Tom DeLay is going around saying this woman is talking and laughing. Bill Frist is giving diagnosis by videotape. What the right is doing is ridiculous and shameful. Every argumement they have put up is in direct contradiction to what they supposedly "believe" in. It is pure politics and nothing more. And then you try to tell what a husband is going through by what you have seen about ten minutes of on Larry King.My own Grandfather of 90 years fell and broke his hip last fall and after they tried to repair it and told him of the rehabiliation involved he decided he had lived a long enough vital life and it was time for him to go. He refused to eat and watching him waste away for a period of about three weeks was rough. I cannot imagine what it is like to watch this same process for over a period of years. Be honest - who knows you best in your life? Is it your family or your spouse? I have been married for almost fifteen years and I can tell you that no other person knows me better than my spouse. I grieve for the Schiavo parents and family but also believe that Schavio and her husband probably had some quite and personal conversations in their lives not privy to her parents.
