Kevin. Sarah brings up a good point. I’ll ask you because I would like to hear your well thought out response (this question really goes to anyone – but because I know you’re anti abortion I’m asking you). Do you say HORAY to George’s and his HHS secretary Tommy Thompson’s push to promote abstinence only "sex" education. A course that steers clear of providing ANY information about contraception. Well..it’s not really a push – it’s a reality as his 2003 budget provides $135 mil for such a program. If a school sex ed program includes contraception say goodbye to the money. Is this right – or better yet – sane?

Before you answer, I’ll say that I think it’s insane. Kids are having sex – like it or not – and they need to have good sound advice regarding contraception. If it comes from their parents – great – but if it doesn’t, then I think the school should step up to the task. To hold $135 million from schools who’ve made the choice to step up is unbelievable.

What say you?
