Don't get me wrong. I agree with the Green Party, Michael Moore and Ralph Nader,
but I understand the great need of pragmatic politics.If Ralph Nader and the Green Party had followed the philosophy of pragmatic politics in
2000 we would not be in the state we appear to be headed. Bush will now get a chance
to select future Supreme Court nominees, federal court justices and more people to
further erode our civil rights. The right to choose for women will be in serious jeopardy.
Our environment will be further destroyed. ANWAR is now likely to be drilled for oil,
our young people headed for an unnecessary war and the rich to grow richer and the
poor poorer.I am filled with great sadness and an utter feeling of great desperation. All I am hoping
for now is the runoff election of Mary Landrieu of LA.We are truly in for a heartache for the next two years.
