What's the comment about looking in the mirror have to do with the other examples I gave you? You said you were going to take them one at a time but you only touched on one. It doesn't matter that the person Kerry flipped off was a pain in the ass to him just as the person Bush was refering to (privately, not publicly as in Kerry's case) was a pain in the ass to him. My question is why does the press not grab the megaphone when Kerry does something foolish and draw attention to it? Let's be honest Dan. You have to see the double standard at work here.
But the larger issue is what affect does the double standard have on the unscrupulous voter? That's my concern.
What about the men who served with Kerry on the swift boat? Does their story deserve to be told far and wide just as Bush's military record has been scrutinized numerous times in the press? I think the press should look into it simply because Kerry is making such an issue of his time spent in Vietnam. Had he not put so much focus on those 4 months I'd probably tell you that I really couldn't care less about what happened over 30 years ago in his life.
I just received this email from my brother tonight. He's been a concervative his entire adult life but has recently begun to buy into Michael Moore's propaganda. We've been going back and forth about the usual issues with neither of us giving much ground. This is an interesting note he writes...
