I have never dismissed anything.
Maybe you and I see that differently GA but I seem to recall you dismissing many things and usually followed by "and calling Bush a Nazi" stuff that I'm not sure why you keep introducing into so many discussions.
I have my own opinions and I keep most of them close to the vest.
You seem to spout opinion all the time. Which ones are you keeping close to the vest and why?
What I point out is hypocrisy (which is more than evident on ALL sides when having a debate).
Where is the value in that? Maybe that's why I find it hard to understand where you're coming from. If you're spending all your time calling people hypocrites that's a pretty good plan to avoid actual discussion. I think your main issue may be that because you feel you're very hypocritical...and maybe you dislike that about yourself...you can't help but find hypocrisy everywhere you look.
If David Kay had come out and said that there was strong evidence of WMD's in Iraq there would be no end to the character assassination he would receive from the left, but when he opposes the administration he is suddenly an unimpeachable source of God's truth.
This is sort of a bizarre argument. It's a hypothetical that's meant to prove hypocrisy where there is none because the guy (Mr. Kay) said something that you imagine had he said the opposite would have caused your imaginary hypocrisy incident to occur. It seems to be a long way around the bend to talk about something other than what Mr. Kay is actually saying. That's the thing I was talking about GA...you have no comment on what Kay is saying just a comment about how had he said something else you think there would have been a different reaction. So in effect, all you're talking about is GA's imaginary world...because none of the things you're talking about happened and you just want us to believe had they happened it would have gone just how GA says it would. You are demonstrating strange behavior there GA...do you consider yourself a people person?
The same with Paul O'neill. When he was working for Bush, he was the root of all EVIL in the world. As soon as he writes a book bashing Bush he is suddenly a "principled statesman" who is shining the light of truth.
Can I just ask who called Paul O'Neill "the root of all evil" and who said he was a "principled statesmen?"
Or are those just more examples of things you believe people would say...or might be thinking or what?
Do not make the mistake of taking my criticism of these people to mean some kind of loyalty to the Bush Administration. Just because I say John Kerry is a weenie does not mean that I dont think G. Bush is one as well.
I'm just reading what you write. I'm not going to attempt to interpret any of it...for the most part because you're the writer and you're not very clear...I guess because you want to stick close to the vest...I can only try to imagine what you're thinking. It seems you are being honest when you say you just would like to call everyone a hypocrite. I guess that's fine, if a sad way to trudge through life.
In fact, Lucianne.com banned people from putting links to our site when I posted an article written by me there because it was very critical of Bush.
Is that an example to show you're not a hypocrite or that they are?
As I said before. I have seen nothing that convinces me that things would be any different if a Dem were in office. If I vote for Bush I dont have to pay for new White House curtains.
Well, I was born in 1967. So far in my life we've had:
Nixon
Ford
Carter
Reagan-Bush the 1st
Reagan-Bush the 1st
Bush the 1st
Clinton
Clinton
Bush the 2nd
Now, just for starters we've had 16 years of a Bush in the White House...and by that I mean this whole crew that's in there with G.W. right now was hanging around during the Reagan years as well. The only real Democrat of that bunch right there was Carter. Clinton was some sort of mutant...so I don't really have much to go on when it comes to having a Democrat in the White House. I think it's safe to say though that we've been living in times (my lifetime anyway) that have been dominated by Republican administrations. So, if we want to try some change...I mean aside from just new curtains...then we may want try a Democrat...hell at least it's a little variety no?
