I saw one of The Bangles recently, the guitar player is married to one of the Cowsills, Vicki and John opened a show for The Smithereens, and then John Cowsill was the lead vocalist for The Smithereens and for the grand finale, Ms. Peterson came back out to sing a couple songs with John and the Smithereens to cap the night.
This record was on rotation in some of the circles I ran with in the 1980s:
