I mean, she really was placed there, so she really has the job. If you are asking how much control she actually has, well, she seems so goddamned stupid to me, I am not sure, but they just gutted the staff, fired at least 60 people, told them they could reapply for their jobs BUT getting back in requires the loyalty oath to Trump/MAGA. So, that sure looks like they are not kidding.

So, essentially until they restaff, they are now in an election year and there is, at this moment, no RNC. There is just this weird little clique run by Lara and this guy named Michael Whatley...he is the co-chair with her. 

I mean, it just looks like they destroyed the RNC to funnel any funds there to Trump and then if they even bother to help any other Republican candidates, and I think they won't Donald wants the money for himself, they would only be loyalty oath candidates pledged to Trump and MAGA. 

So, to me, that looks like an utter disaster that will kill Republicans across the board in 2024 because nothing will go to support anything down ticket.
