Threads has some ways to protect people from trolls. Like Kevin said, there are few trolls over there so far. If you block someone on your thread then, as I understand it, the post at least, is blocked from everyone on your thread too. I find that it is positive and uplifting on Threads. I think the crazy, toxic, maga people, at least thus far, are just staying on twitter and not bothering with Threads. Most people that are sane liberals have migrated from Twitter to Threads. I'm still trying to find Heather Cox Richardson on Threads though.
