I think the fact that even after Nikki Haley dropped out of the race, she is still getting votes in the neighborhood of where she was before may be a positive development as well. She got 13.5% of the vote in the Republican primary in Georgia tonight. It is an open primary so there could have been Dems voting in the Republican primary as well so the vote may be reflecting that as well. Then, in Washington state, she got about 21% of the vote. I know some of those voters will just turn around and vote for trump, but you gotta figure some will vote for Biden OR maybe not vote at all. Not voting for trump is good too.
That doesn't mean we can become over-confident or complacent, but those stats along with the SOTU speech last Thursday sure give me some hope.
