That article is nothing more than propaganda. It's not entirely wrong, and it would shocking if some of the "New Atheists" weren't somehow "morally compromised" on someone's scale of such things.
But then I see statements like this: "which is odd given that (Ben) Shapiro is a pathological liar who routinely misconstrues his opponents in service of a racist, misogynistic, climate-denying agenda."
I've seen a few Shapiro videos where I did get that vibe, but I've also seen some where I don't. So the opinion-heavy content there doesn't necessarily gain the author any support.
I'll give my opinion here, but of course you can take it only as that. Am willing to consider alternate views.
That is: the far Left in the US is 100% every bit as Fascist as are the Trumpers. They are Fascist in different ways, but they are. Probably not a popular viewpoint here. But that's my truth as I've lived it and witnessed first hand.
I do find the Trumpers a bit more scary because of the intense anti-intellectualism that accompanies their Fascism.
