Probably should have mentioned this sooner Peter, but the scripture you quote from Matthew 25 is not Christian doctrine, it's Jesus speaking to Hebrews. Christianity, as a faith, or a doctrine, didn't not exist at that point.

Although Matthew contains prophetic elements that overlaps the Christian era, and has devotional value, strictly speaking Matthew is a transitional book directed solely -doctrinally speaking- toward the Jews. E.g., Matthew 5-7 is not Christian doctrine, the Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, rightfully it should be defined as the constitution of Jesus' coming millennial reign. Too, you'll find therein, when Jesus sends his disciples forth, he tells them to go only to his father's chosen.

It's terribly important to 'rightly divide the word of truth'. Which the disbelieving cannot possible do because they disavow Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Which of course, He is.
