Got it. Now the argument is that the words of Christ aren't "Christian doctrine". That explains a lot these days.

If I may extend that notion, Matthew 19 is the NT passage most often misinterpreted by christians as JC speaking about homosexuality (when in fact he is answering a question from the Pharisees about divorce). Since Matthew is "transitional" and "pre-doctrine", I think we can then infer that Christian doctrine based on the NT has, in fact, no context for speaking about homosexuality and must therefore go back to the treasure trove of sin and punishment that is Leviticus.
