As to your first question.

May I direct your attention to the 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto, as one broad hint. Therein you will find the abolition of private property, the need for a central bank, the control of manufacturing and food production, etc. Essentially, it boils down to some combination of the state and multinational financiers(fractional bankers) beginning with incremental macro economic controls, ending in micro control of individuals.

Communists, and Fascists, are socialists Ed. Any who thinks the government is beneficent and has all the answers for humanity is a socialist, whether they recognize their label, or not. In our internal political system the Bush's are just as socialist as the Clinton's or Obama's.(well perhaps not as much as the Obama's, given they are true believers and it's merely a tool to gain control for the likes of the Bush's).

In fact I am on the record that I will not accept social security. It's a ponzi scheme and I will not be party to its impoverishment. Nor will I utilize Medicare, nor O'Care. Such psychological reliance on government should be avoided at all costs.

Given your faith in government, I would encourage you to investigate the history of demicide. Don't go crazy, just stick to the 20th century, (some would argue)humanities most progressive era, to date.

peaceably,
