We'd have to turn all of Iraq into a glass parking lot to 'just about'
equal what that idol of the Roosevelt left Stalin managed.-) In
excess of 22 million last I heard.
Someday I'd like to hear the story behind A Bitter Tree. And
how
many units it sold, if you know? Was listening today and got to
wondering.
Alohaps Didn't realize I stepped into the middle of a shit storm thread.
So I suppose I should wade on in, LOL.Once we get our Iraqi Puppet government in place, that would be
the most opportune time to exit. But of course, that is not the
Plan, as we're not leaving, and the US is not a hero in invading Iraq,
bushites. I guess Saddam was too smart for us this time around so
we had to break American tradition with a preemptive attack;
afterall, we gave Saddam tacit permission to invade Kuwait and
then blindsided his army; that's how we do it historically: we push
our enemy into a corner, like Japan, forcing them into an action
whereby we can justify calling them the evil ones, and then claim
we had no choice but to kick their evil asses. That's American
tradition, and a proud one too, don'tcha think. 'course the answer
to that is obvious!BTW, the world is not a safer place because of our actions. Nor is
America. And, low and behold, American liberties have diminished
to an alltime low(:in the modern era:) and right soon, you can get
officially violated on a subway near you! If you object, you're
automatically guilty, how quaintly American.Simpletons.LOL
