Why do you guys seem to think that if some of us do not support certain actions that we somehow believe in waving the white flag and surrendering to Osama and friends?

I don't recall reading here that anyone has suggested that but yet again and again voicing an opposing thought seems to equate to surrender and pacifism in your eyes.

I think there is still some real merit in trying to inject a little sanity into the discussion and in finding a way not to slaughter innocents by "leveling cities."

The fact that Iraq did not attack us should not be lost in the discussion here. Whatever our "mission" there was it no longer exists and there has been no evidence to sanction it since we arrived. All that insane talk about "stabilizing the region" has been shown to be utter nonsense and we're just loading the bases in a game where all the players have very itchy trigger fingers.
