For me, it has to be the west coast of Ireland. County Clare and Mayo. Driving south from Galway , spending the night in the small town of Dolan, Having a pint or two while listening to Irish musicians having a informal jam session in the local bar. Waking up early the next day, foggy morning, Christy Moore playing in me headphones, all to witness the fog lift off  the Cliffs of Moar (sp?). Ahhh, the georgeous Atlantic ocean, meets the rocky Irish coast, the ever extending peaks and valleys of rolling green. I'l never forget it! My favorite man-made place/site has to be the Sisitine Chapel ceiling at the Vatican in Rome. I spent an hour and half, neck strain and all, to try and soak every detail, every amazing brush stroke of color I could.
