Just curious, but I just saw an American Express
commerical and Sheryl Crow's new song is used.
What does everyone out there think of musicians that sell their music for things like this?
A few years ago an interview of Bob Seger was on and the topic was his selling of "Like A Rock" to Chevrolet and he had the audacity to compare his situation to saving union jobs in Detroit and to what John Mellencamp does at Farm Aid.
Then you had people with substance abuse problems like Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones affiliating themselves with beer companies.
Or when Whitney Houston did Coke commericals while the Coke company was still investing in South Africa.
Just curious how everone else feels.
