Icon Hunter found guilty and I guess that is a good thing, and the Donald has his own gun charges coming

Mainly because it shows, once again, that our justice system is working. Trump was found guilty of his 34 felony charges, Hunter found guilty of lying on his firearms application. I heard one of the jurors in the case say yesterday that they simply saw enough evidence to show that Hunter was on drugs when he purchased the gun and filled out the form. The evidence consisted of the memoir he wrote, text messages, and emails. I can only assume that there were texts or emails from the day he filled out the form in which he said he was using drugs on that day. Otherwise, not sure how they confirmed he was using drugs when he filled out the form.

Now the word is Trump has multiple gun charges coming. His permit to carry was suspended, I think in April of 2023, and he was able to purchase a gun with a suspended permit. He also was supposed to turn over the guns he owns, it is said he owns three pistols, two he has turned in, and one he has at Mar-a-Lago.

Now that he is a felon, he can no longer own or handle any firearms. So, guess we'll see how that plays out. He confesses to his probation officer he still has one of his guns in Florida, so authorities have been alerted to go pick that up. Not sure if that is a violation of his probation or not. If he tried to keep or hide the gun, that would certainly be a violation, but since he confessed to his probation officer he has it, I assume Florida police would just go and get it.

I think the big issue is, he is on video buying a gun while his permit was suspended. That is a felony and not sure there is a way around that as Hunter had no way around checking the wrong box on his application.
