The prosecutor only brought this case because the judge told the Defense that the plea deal he was getting set him up to possibly be charged for something else down the line and decided to reject the plea deal. That meant the prosecutor had to go back and look at the case. The prosecutor is a Republican special prosecutor like Jack Smith (as far as I remember) and they, of course, are looking for ways/reasons to screw with Biden by screwing with his only remaining son.

I saw yesterday that the defense is planning on saying that at the time he applied for the gun, he was sober so he was not using drugs at that time. And that's what all of this money, time, and negative publicity is all about. It's a colossal waste of everything! And you're right, so many other people are doing drugs around the time they buy a gun. Even if it's just smoking weed, they aremstill supposed to check yes. Like you said though, I have yet to check yes on a question like that and I really can't think of anyone I know who would not do the same.

I don't know why Democrats do this...let Republican prosecutors follow up on cases like Hur investigating Biden for the secret docs found at his home. I do not think Republicans can be fair and impartial in today's world. They all seem to be beholden to trump. And this trial of Hunter Biden is all a sham, I think, and a way for the republicans to kiss the Orange Menace's ass.
