Interesting tactic to take - ignore other's beliefs. It does open the door to completely eliminating most talk beyond small talk about the weather- which in some situations is not a bad thing. I think there can be a fine line between what a person views as a belief and what they internalize as a truth or a like or a love. I might say 'I believe your vegan chili is the best in the Shire' - but I could also simply say 'I love your vegan chili'. I think you're setting yourself up for some internal struggles.
