Hey, Ross — Thank you for your comments. I have no idea where we go from here. Can you imagine anyone scripting these past 5 years ahead of it all and expect to be taken seriously? I hope Biden doesn't seek another term. I voted for him without hesitation but given his age, I didn't think he would run for a 2nd term. I'm thankful he stepped up and helped to stop the hemorrhaging. I was impressed with Harris as a Senator in her questioning of Barr when he was the AG nominee but I really don't know much about her. I don't think her role as VP has elevated her in the eyes of the people the way I thought it might. 

My days of supporting conservative causes are done. That was a lifetime ago for me. I've changed and the party is no more. Thanks for helping your son to see the real fraud that is Trump. How he's managed to fool so many people is a question I will take to my grave. 

I'm not quite sure how to interpret your comment about fascism. I understand your concerns about it but it's not something I see as a problem from those of us on the left. I am clearly seeing it as a definite problem from those on the right, though. It's on full display in the way they're silencing those among them who don't toe the party line; Trump standing in Lafayette Square awkwardly holding an upside-down bible for a photo-op after having forcefully removed peaceful protestors, and now you've got Michael Flynn talking about having one religion, Christianity, for this country. That all seems clearly like a lurch toward fascism to me.

This is a watershed period in our country and honestly, we could go either way. After yesterday's defeat of voting rights in the Senate, I would guess we've pretty much sealed our fate. We barely had enough good men to stand in the gap and stop the actual steal last election. They've pretty much all been removed now, clearing the way for an ugly chapter in our nation's history to be written. I would love to be wrong.
