So a lot of what is in that article is true and the sort of long list of problems we are facing. We are in a civil war but mostly it is a war of words and a lot of misinformation.

In some states, Michigan, Florida, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, things could deteriorate into a violent battle that has Right Wing terrorists killing people. That will be Putin’s dream come true if you are seeing news broadcasts showing Americans killing Americans on television.

If our police and military function as they should those terrorists would rapidly be put down. There would be blood, it will be horribly ugly, and disgrace the United States on the world stage for a long long time and Putin and Trump and Tucker Carlson would praise the dead terrorists as heroes. Which would of course cause a continuation of our problems.

As that article points out, our problem is we have people in leadership positions that are inciting and encouraging the terrorists. This is what is scaring the shit out of the people trying to protect our country. We have faced many things as a nation but having a former president and a whole bunch of elected Republicans openly express their hopes for violence, then excusing that violence, is not something people expected.

What I think needs to happen to prevent this kind of violence is to prosecute the leaders encouraging it and making it illegal for them and media goons like Carlson or Hannity or whomever can promote that stuff.

The Democrats fear doing it, even though it is a solution; because they don’t want to appear to be taking part in political prosecutions. Problem is the Republicans and Trump know this so they continue to lie and incite people because they do not fear any sort of retribution. Plus the real scum in the Republican party say if they prosecute them when/if the Republicans ever regain control of the House and Senate they will bring charges against every Democrat they can. They will invent the charges but it won’t matter because they have supporters that have so demonized Democrats that they will happily support lynching them.

So it is a mess but the mess could be solved. A lot of the Republicans that supported Trump and watch Tucker Carlson are old. So they are not going to take to the streets to kill people. Pat Brown I think voted for Trump but Pat is not going to hit the streets to kill people.

The fascist elected Republicans are only going to get a bunch of people killed if they keep this up. Their goal is not really a civil war their goal is mainly to destroy our election process so that as it says in that article 30% of the country controls the entire country. Their model I believe being Putin or the old South Africa where they just throw their opponents in  jail or kill them and there is no election process. That is their endgame but they don’t have an army to do it through violence they have a bunch of silly soldiers that think because they own a gun they can take over the country.

That won’t win it for them. So hopefully as this get more and more dangerous and close to states like the ones I mention above exploding…well…hopefully the Republican Party splits into the insane side and the side that does not want to see their country and their states torn apart.
