But it is a choice, Mick, an extremely consequential choice for the country and the world. For us in the USA, a Biden victory would deny Trump another appointment, or two, to the United States Supreme Court and at dozens of lower courts. If you care about abortion rights, this alone would make you vote for Biden. Also, our institutions are being decimated by Trump. He's firing inspectors general who oversee various departments. They are battling this administration's corruption and by ousting them, the rats just flood in. NATO needs a supportive America. Trump doesn't care a whit about human rights, here and abroad, but Biden does, and would again make them part of our policy. I could provide innumerable other examples of the issues that are at stake here, but understand that it's absolutely ridiculous to think that it doesn't matter. Off the top of my head, climate change, the Iran nuclear deal, Belarus, civil rights, the need to unify our country, the pandemic, valuing science, etc. etc. etc. He can't have access to the nuclear launch codes! He can't continue to praise authoritarians around the world.
If everyone felt like you, Mick, we wouldn't get the turnout that we desperately need.
