Yes, lovely share, Reg. Essex, Massachusetts, huh? I hope you guys dined in the rough at Woodman's, where in 1916, Lawrence "Chubby" Woodman allegedly invented the fried clam. I've been there a few times as I had to pay homage to Chubby and sample the offerings! They were tasty though I've had better. I seem to recall seeing a fair number of boxes labelled "lard". The price we pay for fried food! And I wonder, did Lawrence transform to Chubby after his invention? Peter T.
