As for placing the body of a dead cop on a pool table for a wake - in my neck of the woods that is not done....though, I think it would be an appropriate send-off it that is what one desires.
So, I wonder if The Wire send-offs were an Irish thing or just a fable.....that would be an interesting thing to find out....
