We have a danish artist called "Oh land", who does make music the modern way (garageband software, sampler and various electronics), and was/is somewhat successful both at home and abroad (she spent a couple of years in New York) .

Nowadays she at "home" in Denmark taking care of kids and making music to the royal ballet collaborating with the Queen of Denmark on the costumes  ;-)
