I think the argument against the Dept of Ed is not with making American kids dumb - but that the bureaucracy of DC shouldn't dictate the spelling words of the kids in Dubuque IA. Kinda like Common Core is a Satanic Homoerotic guide to teaching kids literature and math.

And - in the end - if the state departments of education could honestly show levels of achievement that put their kids on a level playing field as their peers in Europe and Asia - then maybe we don't need a Fed Ed. But we probably do.

But that above argument has nothing to do with the desire to abolish the EPA. That's just stupid.
